8 years, can you believe it?
Cobblestone Productions has been capturing wedding photography and wedding videography for 8 years now and we have had the same branding for that entire time… realy, the same website for many many years as well. We have been contemplating a fresh rebrand for Cobblestone Productions for a long time but often pushed it to the side while we worked on other projects and just made it through our day to day.
Finally, after several life changes including the birth of out girls over the past 4 years, buying and selling our home in San Luis Obispo, California, moving onto a sailboat for 6 months, and moving back to Newnan, Georgia in the metro Atlanta area, it was time to make a change.
Savannah reached out to an old college friend, AnneMarie Ellis from Lovendear to create Cobblestone Productions’ new brand vision and y’all… she knocked it out of the park.
A NEW NAME
We started with something we wanted to do for a long time. Change the business name.
Cobblestone Productions was originally designed to be a video production company that did weddings as well. More focused of corporate work, we wanted to grow our brand into a large video company. Folks loved our photography just as much as our videography and we began getting folks booking us to do both photo and video and thus our wedding combination package was born. Our clients loved the husband and wife duo crafting their entire wedding media package and we enjoyed controlling the whole process. So, settling into who we are was important but we never changed the brand, even our email still said videography.
Cobblestone Weddings was born. Really, it was easy, because the root is the same name we always call the brand:

We loved the design of of our previous moon, and our previous logo was actually hand drawn by a now IG-famous designer on Instagram Taylor Penton. The moon to us felt classy, timeless, and gave the sense of walking down a cobblestone street at night with your arm around your significant other. It just feels romantic. So keeping that was a must and AnneMarie did a great job keeping that in the right space.

COLOR PALLET
Next she designed Cobblestone Weddings’ color pallet. It was between a warm sandy tones or cooler classy evening tones. It was a hard decision. Once we saw the warmer tones we noticed that the vibe felt too country and too out of place while the cooler tones were just right for that moonlight vibe. We are also obsessed with the color names.

We couldn’t be happier with the incredible work AnneMarie did on our design. She then took it 5 steps further and gave us textures and other brand assets that elevated everything that much more.

A NEW MOON PHASE
Cobblestone turned over a new leaf, or a new phase of the moon perhaps, and we are so stoked to see the next version of our brand. Though we have moved back to Atlanta, Georgia, we plan to continue capturing weddings in the Central Coast of California area including San Luis Obsipo, Paso Robles, Carmel, and Santa Barbra. We are now adding the Atlanta, Georgia and Newnan areas to our service area and are very excited to see what is in store for the Atlanta area.
Please reach out to us if you are interested in booking in either area and we look forward to capturing your wedding.
